still haven’t figured out why my php include is not being included on my sidebar. I did get some of my books (who cares of things bounce, and I’m paying a hundred dollars for 3 books… ) and I REALLY want to rant about the cost of e-books, and the fact that you can’t read one format on another device’s format.
when I buy a paperback, it doesn’t matter WHAT country I’m in, I can still read it… so why… when I buy a book in mobipocket format, and now I have a device that only reads eReader format, WHY WHY can’t I convert it? /and doing the python thingy, Forget It! I’m SO Lost on those directions, I installed that python 3 different times, and STILL have no idea how to get it to work, to get rid of the stupid drm. and all those, ‘remove drm’ is for music and video. Not e-book.

well, I finally got off my behind this week, and put out some more resumes. there was one in particular, in lynchburg, that i though was PERFECT. of course, you know what they say about something that looks to good to be true…

it’s just that the job listed itself, exactly what I had been asking for. office receptionist, answering phones, making appointments, etc. the only other thing I had asked for, was this kind of job, closer to home. but hey, I’ll take it in lynchburg (even if I never go to that city) for a job I would travel. hell. I even found a couple jobs, but they were in harrisonburg, lol, and sorry, as good as the job sounds, there’s no way I could travel to harrsionburg every morning! I would have to leave at 5 in the morning, which means I would have to get up at 3 AM. I don’t think so.
of course, maybe I should look for jobs around glen burnie and baltimore, and move up there with mom and the aunts.
onediful says to move in with her. i know she could use the help in paying her house payment. I imagine that it would be just as difficult finding a job around Richmond, as it would be Baltimore. (meaning that there are probably hundreds of people applying for the same job). I remember going through that in Dallas 20 years ago. which is how I ended up in Roanoke.
one and i would probably be decent roommates together too! lol
